Hard Water Fern

Blechnum wattsii

This fern is a very vigorous, hardy, large-leaved creeping ground fern.

It often forms the dominant ground cover in mountain forests especially in and around watercourses.

Like most other Blechnum species, this fern has separate, slender, spore-bearing fronds from the vegetative fronds.
