Before coming to work at Lakes Entrance Secondary College, I worked at Nowa Nowa Primary school, and Tambo Upper Primary school as a teachers aide. I am now the Koori Educator at Lakes Secondary College, which makes it better for the Koori children, there was nobody like that around when I went to school. Koori culture is now becoming more wide spread throughout schools in Victoria, and Kooris are being recognised more in relation to their culture. I would like to see all Koori students go on to University. I have nine children and the two people I admire most are my partner, Tracy for the work she is involved with, and my Dad, because he has always been there for me. |
