Join in the revelry and celebrate worldwide Carnivale traditions at this special one day festival.

Experience riotous music and dance workshops, roving performers, face painting, puppet shows and masquerades. Create a musical instrument, help decorate a float for the parade and enjoy the fun, food and family activities.

Join Queen Jigzie to shake and shimmy your way through interactive performances of music, song, dance and stories relating to Jamaican Carnival traditions.

Enjoy the Magic Punch & Judy Puppet Show, with its characters that emerged from 16th century Italian Commedia dell’Arte theatre and that are still popular costumes for Italian Carnevale today.

Make your own unique Rara instruments as people do for Haitian rural carnivals, and join in a Brazilian batucada percussion workshop.

Have your face painted as a Carnivale character or take home a Carnivale-inspired balloon creation.
