Grand Foyer

The Foyer’s original black and white marble floors and intricate ceiling make for a visual feast that is both elegant and disarmingly contemporary in feel.

Designed in 19th-century grand style, the space is suited to dinners or cocktail receptions, and is complemented by access from Old Customs House’s great ceremonial staircase. Those with a sense of drama will appreciate the possibilities of an entrance in the style of old.

The Grand Foyer also offers pleasant views over the Yarra River by day, or, at night, the funky neon vision of a modern city.

Featuring restored original black and white marble floors and high ceilings, the first floor foyer was once the grand entrance to the Old Customs House. This space offers a lovely outlook across Melbourne's Yarra River and is perfect for more intimate events.
