Do you want to learn skills in documentary video making?
Have you got a story about belonging and identity you want to share?
Are a young person living in the Broadmeadows area?
Then we want to hear from you!
As part of the Identity exhibition, we are offering a series of FREE workshops for young people to learn video making skills.
Selected videos made during the workshops will be featured in the exhibition and as part of the exhibition website.
The workshops will cover camera techniques, sound and lighting, editing, documentary styles and genres and exporting films. No experience is required as all equipment is provided.
Dates: starting on Saturday 29 January for 5 weeks.
Venue: Banksia Gardens Community Centre
71-81 Pearcedale Parade, Broadmeadows
Time: 10am – 2pm (includes free lunch)
plus 2 hours of extra help if you want it
