Fashioning faith and footy

A hijab can have more than one meaning. An expression of Islamic faith, they can also be worn to identify women with their favourite football team.

Shanaaz Copeland is a South African-born fashion designer who produces hijabs in Australian Rules football colours. So adaptable, they can be worn in seven different ways. She also designs a range of clothing for Muslim women, enabling them to express their personal tastes and styles through fashion.
