You can search the Immigration Museum website and discover the wealth of online information. You may wish to start your family history research, find out about the shipping journeys your ancestors took to come to Australia or find information about the diverse communities in Melbourne. Our expert and friendly staff can assist with your enquiries on weekdays.
At the Immigration Discovery Centre you can learn about personal migration stories and even write your own on The Share a Story database. The database is a growing repository that currently holds about one thousand migration stories written by people who have migrated to Victoria from over fifty countries.
Printing and photocopying facilities are available. All these resources are free of charge.
