Our library

The Immigration Discovery Centre has an extensive library containing books, journals and education resources on a range of themes relating to immigration. Our library includes a rare collection of books donated by the Ecumenical Migration Centre.

The library caters to a wide audience, particularly those with an interest in family history, community information and contemporary issues.

Topics covered include:

  • getting started with family history
  • personal immigration journeys to Victoria
  • contemporary issues on immigration
  • immigration history in Victoria and Australia
  • exhibition themes and public programs.

The Immigration Discovery Centre library is a non-lending library. Printing and photocopying facilities are available.
