These resources are for Tertiary, Adult and Years 9-12 secondary students interested in an overview of the immigration history of Victoria and Australia. The study of immigration has curriculum links to Civics and Citizenship, Humanities (History), Communication, and Thinking Processes. There are also curriculum links to the Victorian Certificate of Education and the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning.
The kit consists of excursion resources and additional resources.
Excursion resources
These relate directly to an excursion to the Immigration Museum. Note that the Student Pathway (see below) should be discussed with the students before the excursion.
