Years 5-9, Program led by museum staff

Presented in Italian and English, this program focuses on the vocabulary of domestic life, geographic information about Italy and Australia, and issues of personal identity for migrants and caters to all levels of Italian. At the session students will receive a colour printed cartella that includes the activities to complete during the session and later in the museum.

At the end of this staff led program students have time in the museum galleries to explore in more detail specific aspects of Italian migration and complete the museum self guided activities in the cartella. Teachers can preview the beginners and intermediate cartella online in the Avventura, forza e coraggio education kit.

Available from 7 May 2012,  Terms 2 & 3, Mondays.
Session times: 10am, 11am,  & 1pm.

Session duration: 40 minutes.
Maximum 35 students per session.
Cost: $4.40 per student plus education service fee
