Providing an integrated approach to Humanities and English, this self guided program enables students to use their museum Passport to guide them through the galleries, developing an understanding of the history and experience of immigration to Victoria and Australia and appreciating what immigration has brought to this country.
The program includes an introduction by an Immigration Museum staff member. Pre and post visit resources are also included to further strengthen student learning, while the Passport is a lasting souvenir of the students’ visit.
The Passport education kit with excursion resources as well as pre-visit and enrichment activities is available online.
