The magnificent palazzo-style Long Room resounds with the opulence of 1870s Melbourne. With Ionic columns, high ceilings and hand laid tessellated tiles; this enormous space was the thriving centre of the customs and trade activity in Victoria for more than a century. The Long Room features a large exhibition installation of a replica ship in the centre of the room, that represents that no matter when they arrived, Immigrants are all linked by the common experience of a journey.
Perfect for Dinners, cocktail parties or presentations, this space is classic, elegant and rich in history.
