The following terms and conditions apply to the submission of photographs to the Leaving Home project:
- Photographers should obtain permission from any identifiable people in their photos prior to entering the photo to the group.
- Photos of children (under the age of 18) will only be accepted with explicit written consent from parents and guardians – it is the photographer's responsibility to obtain this consent.
- The photos must belong to the person submitting the photo. The original digital file must be kept for reference; it may be required to demonstrate this is your own work.
- Photos must be connected to the theme of migration or temporary relocation from or to any part of the world, contemporary or historical.
- Photographs may or may not be selected to be displayed in the Leaving Dublin: Photographs by David Monahan exhibition at Immigration Museum, between the dates 26 October 2012 and 25 August 2013.
- Photographs selected for display in the exhibition will be professionally mounted and may be cropped if required.
- If selected for the exhibition display, at the conclusion of the exhibition the photograph will not be returned and will not form part of Museum Victoria collections.
- Photographs may be posted by Museum Victoria on its website, blog, Facebook page, Flickr page and Twitter account.
- Museum Victoria will not keep any personal information.
- There is no limit to the number of photographs submitted.
