Make a Russian-inspired Babushka basket for Easter.

Traditionally the first thing to be eaten at a Russian Easter feast is an egg. Shared by the whole family the egg is cut into equal pieces and given to everyone at the table. It is said that the egg contains happiness for the entire year, so everyone takes a share.

Babushka or Matryoshka dolls, which are often designed around an Easter theme, have a long history in Russia and are linked with the cultural importance of eggs during Russian Easter to make these baskets.
