Catalogue
An image-rich catalogue produced by Museum Victoria in collaboration with National Geographic Society accompanies the exhibition. It focuses on the 4 collections originating from ancient Bactria (northern Afghanistan) that comprise the exhibition. It brings to light the story of Afghanistan’s rich cultural diversity and exchange of goods and ideas along the Silk Road 300BC – 200AD. The catalogue includes full colour images of these significant collections and is available from the exhibition shop for $34.95.
Kids and Family
A fun program of all things ‘Gold’ will entertain the kids during the autumn and winter school holidays.
Afghanistan Cafe
A Middle Eastern flavoured cafe in the lower-ground foyer extends the exhibition experience. Located near the exhibition entrance, it offers a relaxed dinning atmosphere that is great for lunch, morning or afternoon tea.
