Melbourne Story self-guided kit

The Melbourne Story self guided resource education kit is essential reading for teachers of Yrs 3-10, visiting the Melbourne Museum. A diverse range of ideas and activities are explored to enable teachers to customise activities to suit their own curriculum.

The study of Melbourne and its history has close curriculum links with the Humanities (History, Geography and Economics), Civics and Citizenship, Personal Learning, Interpersonal Development, Communication and Thinking Processes.

The resources below should be reviewed by teachers and discussed with the class before the excursion. Please note that bookings for all visits are essential (telephone 1300 130 152).
