Years 4-6, Program led by museum staff

This highly interactive 30 minute program led by a qualified French teacher explores the themes in the exhibition Bugs Alive!

Students will become ‘scientists’ when they examine real bugs (in resin) with a hand lens in order to discover:

  • The difference between bugs
  • The environmental impact of bugs


This program is supported by the AFTV. Teachers that are members of the AFTV will be eligible to book this staff led program and have the students’ costs waived. An education service fee will apply. To become an AFTV member see details at http://www.aftv.vic.edu.au.

Available Term 2, Fridays only.
Session times: 10.30am & 11am.
Session duration: 30 minutes.

Maximum 35 students per session.
Cost: $3.30 per student if school is not an AFTV member, plus education service fee.
