In this session children gain a greater awareness of the basic needs of living things. They also look at the external features of a number of birds and animals. Students are encouraged to make observations and discuss their ideas with other students and an adult moderator.
Students will be introduced to the idea that living things live in different places where their needs are met and that living things grow, change and have offspring similar to themselves.
