The Japanese resources about Wild Life were fantastic. Are there any resources for Chinese language?

I am trying to find the names of animals & birds I took photos of in the new display (Carlton museum)to research them further. It it possible to have the names listed of all those on display or the interactive computer program available on line to identify just the names of the animals and birds? It is impossible to identify them all there with other people also wanting to find the ones they are looking at. Thanks for the magnificent display it's fantastic.

Can you please tell me how long the 'Wild: Amazing Animals in a Changing World' exhibit has been a part of the museum's collection. Thank you

While the Wild exhibition has been on display since 2009, the items that make up the exhibition have been part of the Museum Victoria collection for many many years.

Hi, i'm trying to find a small exhibition part where you showcased animals that were painted, and old books from scientists that travelled and recorded animals/ described them but i cant seem to find them. May I know what kind of books they were? Like the description as I would love to buy some books like that (obviously not those rare ones that bonaparte allowed)

Hi Julian,

You must be trying to find The Art of Science exhibition. Unfortunately the exhibition closed on the 1st of Feb. so you must have just missed out on viewing it. There are plenty of great publications available on scientific illustration including The Art of Science Catalogue which is available from the Melbourne Museum Shop.
