Who will you meet today?

Characters from different times in Melbourne’s history will take to the soapbox to share their viewpoints and personal stories.

Will you meet a 19th century Indigenous man who is yarning with his friends and family under the giant Moreton Bay Fig tree in what will become Carlton Gardens?

Or a woman in the 1880s who takes to the steps of the State Library, Art Gallery and Museum, to gain support for the Women’s Christian Temperance Union?

Join us to learn more about Melbourne’s fascinating and sometimes hidden histories.
