The Royal Society of Victoria’s free public forum to discuss options for our future energy sources.

Victoria is well placed to invest in a variety of traditional, alternative and renewable energy sources. Coal (brown and black), oil and natural gas have all been exploited, but there is considerable scope for development of wind, solar and wave/tidal power.

Three experts in the field of energy will discuss Victoria’s options in a global and national context, as well as what local energy schemes can provide. There will be time allowed for the audience to participate in the discussion.
