This education kit contains resources for Years 3-10 students focussing on the science of domestic products, foodstuffs and materials, how some appliances and gadgets work, and the non-human inhabitants that live in our homes.
The study of these topics has curriculum links to the Science, Mathematics, Information & Communications Technology (ICT), and Design, Creativity & Technology domains.
The kit consists of Teacher notes and Pathways A, B and C, which relate directly to a visit to the House Secrets exhibition at Scienceworks, and Background information, Web links and Student activities to do at home or in the classroom.
Teachers may copy material in this education kit for classroom use.
