These resources for Years 3-10 students focus on physical science – especially the broad concepts of motion and waves. The study of physical science concepts has curriculum links to Science Knowledge and Understanding, Science at work, Interpersonal Development and Thinking Processes.
The kit consists of excursion resources and additional resources.
Excursion resources
These relate directly to an excursion to the Sci-Quest exhibition, which is at Scienceworks from 12 May until 6 November 2007. The Pathways (see below) focus on different aspects of the exhibits, and are broadly graded as being more suitable for primary or for secondary students. They should be reviewed, and the Pathway chosen should be discussed with students and carers before the excursion.
