House Secrets explores the science of domestic products, foodstuffs, materials, how some appliances and kitchen gadgets work and the non-human inhabitants that live in our homes.
The resource allows students of Italian to learn about the house and the science of kitchen chemistry, simple machines and energy transformations within an Italian language context.
The resource includes Teacher Notes, Self guided Italian language tasks for use in the House Secrets exhibition, Experiments at school which include filmed kitchen chemistry experiments with narration in Italian and English and accompanying listening and written tasks.
