Scienceworks education excursion packages have been designed to optimise student learning within a specific content area or theme. Each package provides a suggested program for a fun and interactive day at Scienceworks that also meets specific curriculum outcomes.
The Beyond the Solar System package will give your students an opportunity to learn about space travel, different types of stars, the birth and death of stars and galaxies. Theories about the universe will also be covered.
This package includes the Escape from Andraxus Planetarium show and the Blast Off science show.
An example itinerary could be:
10.00am – Blast Off science show
10.30am – General viewing of exhibitions
11:00am – Escape from Andraxus Planetarium show
12:00pm - Lunch
Available Term 3, Tuesday to Friday.
Maximum of 60 students per session
Minimum of 15 students per session
Cost: $7.70 per student plus education service fee
