This 40 minute Planetarium show tells the story of Rojil, an alien left homeless due to the death of a star. Separated from the rest of his people, Rojil sets out on an epic journey that uncovers the amazing diversity of stars.
Escape from Andraxus, through the death of Rojil’s sun, prompts students to consider the fate of our own Earth’s sun. Our Sun came into existence approximately five billion years ago and is currently in the most stable period of its life. In approximately five billion years from now, our Sun will have exhausted its hydrogen fuel and will undergo a transformation.
All Planetarium shows conclude with a staff guided ‘What’s in the sky tonight’ presentation.
