In this 30 minute presentation children will discover the story of Melbourne’s early sewerage system and how storm water affects the amount of pollution in our waterways.
Where Does the Water Go? includes a 30 minute guided tour of the historic Spotswood Pumping Station, Melbourne's first centralised sewerage system, and children can see the large steam pumping engines powered by compressed air.
Available Term 4, Monday-Friday.
Session duration: 60 minutes.
Maximum 50 students per session.
