Accessible parking spaces are available in the main Scienceworks carpark, adjacent to each of the foyer entry doors.
Kerbside parking is available for larger buses in Booker Street, with transition ramps immediately in front of the museum forecourt.
An accessible route from Spotswood station to Scienceworks has recently been resurfaced, with transition ramps provided at all cross street intersections. Ramp access to the station has been re-graded in accordance with accessibility standards.
A limited number of wheelchairs are available from the information desk on a first-come basis.
Accessible toilets are available on ground floor of the main building and in the Planetarium foyer.
All exhibition galleries and public spaces have lift and/or ramp access.
The Planetarium and Lightning Room have a limited number of dedicated wheelchair spaces; it is advisable that visitors arrive for these shows 10–15 minutes before the commencement time.
