Metters ‘Moffat’ electric stove
Late 1930s
Around the late 1930s, a wealthy Geelong housewife, already the owner of an electric refrigerator and mix-master, purchased this Australian-made Metters ‘Moffat’ electric stove.
The stove was used only once or twice to bake scones, and then abandoned in disappointment.
