Grace Nawirridj's specialty is knotted string bags with strong colours. Her sister is fibre artist Sarah Nadjalaburbburn. The National Gallery of Australia acquired a fibre work by Grace.

Heather Nawirridj is well known for her looped pandanus bags. She often works with undyed pandanus or with a single colour. Heather is married to painter Wilfred Nawirridj.

Roslyn Nayilibidj

Roslyn experiments with raw bark fibre and string to produce asymmetrical forms. She learned fibre work from her mother Milinwanga. Roslyn travelled to look at museum collections for the Twined Together exhibition in 2004.

Anita Nayinggul makes pandanus handbags using looping and coiling techniques. Anita is the daughter of fibre artist Irene Nayinggul.

Connie Nayinggul

Connie makes coiled baskets in the style of a fruit basket. Her parents are Doris and Jacob Nayinggul. Connie has worked as a cataloguer and a park ranger.

Doris makes coiled baskets with openwork zigzag structural features. Daughters Connie and Katie and Doris' sister Audrey Nadjowh and aunt Mary Badari are all fibre artists. Doris is married to Jacob Nayinggul.

Marietta Nayinggul

Yirridjdja, Mandilbarang, Gunbalanya

Marietta makes open looped forms in pandanus. Her mother-in-law is the fibre artist Irene Nayinggul. She is also employed by the school and the store in Gunbalanya.

Dobie Wurrkidj

Duwa, Mandilbarang, Gunbalanya

Dobie's preference is coiled baskets and earlier work is held in South Australian Museum and Museum Victoria's collections. Dobie is in her eighties and is the most senior practicing fibre artist.
