Treat the nest at night.
Wear full protective clothing.
Place red cellophane over your torch.

Locate the nest and generally soak it with any commercially available insecticide spray.

In a roof cavity, place a pest strip near the nest. In a wall cavity, cut up a pest strip and pass it through the outside air vents near the nest, or Generally soak the area, with: Baygon Household Insecticide Killer Surface Spray, or Blattanex Professional Insecticide or sprinkle carbaryl or propoxur dust aroud the area: Baygon Household Insecticide Dust, Garden King European Wasp & Fleakil Insecticide Dust, Defender Home Garden Dust Insecticide, Agchem Cabbage & Multi-purpose Dust Insecticide
