The genus Floresorchestia (Amphipoda: Talitridae) on Cocos (Keeling) and Christmas Islands

Abstract: The widespread Indo-West Pacific and Caribbean talitrid genus Floresorchestia is reported from Cocos (Keeling) and Christmas Islands for the first time and a new species, F. poorei is described. Floresorchestia poorei is common on the beaches of West Island, Cocos (Keeling).
