Why face another sweltering day with bored children? Museum Victoria is offering an abundance of great holiday activities for families, with our venues all open every day, including New Year’s Day.

If your family loves amphibians, penguins, dinosaurs or has a creative flair, then a trip to one of Museum Victoria’s venues will give them a boost these holidays. Melbourne Museum, Scienceworks, Immigration Museum and IMAX Melbourne Museum are all hosting fun school holiday activities that also provide an escape from the heat.

“All our venues are air-conditioned, and we know from past experience of scorching summer days that visitors love our cool oases. We have upgraded the cooling plant at Scienceworks during the past year, and the 900-space underground car park at Melbourne Museum comes in handy too,” said Museum Victoria CEO, Dr Patrick Greene.

Have some fun in air-conditioned comfort without breaking the bank.
