The three men in this image are seen with items of personal decoration. Those on the ends are wearing boar's tusk ornaments, bati ni vuaka, while the man in the middle is wearing a black-lipped pearl-shell disc, civa, which may be worn only by those of chiefly rank. He is also holding a knobbly-headed sokekia rootstock club, with its straight handle bound with alternating red and black sinnet.
