Women in Industry, Contraception and Health (WICH) was formed during the 1970s by migrant and non-migrant women. Anna Moo and others banded together to successfully lobby governments on previously ignored issues relating to women’s health, education, domestic and workplace safety.

The model of the female reproductive system on display was taken by women from WICH to factories and other workplaces during the 1970s and 1980s in order to educate other women about reproductive health.
